Nawabi Pulao Recipe in Indian Style #Foodiesblog.ooo



Ingredients of Nawabi Pulao

1/2 kilograms chopped into cubes,washed & dried chicken
1/2 kilograms soaked,washed & dried basmati rice
1 cup milk
1 large ginger
4 pinches powdered salt
3 cup Water
1/4 kilograms chopped into cubes,washed & dried mutton
3 medium onion
12 cloves garlic
6 tablespoon melted ghee
1 teaspoon Rose water

For The Main Dish 1 cup beaten yoghurt (curd)
1/2 cup shelled,boiled peas

    For making this mughlai lunch/dinner recipe, clean and wash rice and     soak it in water for 15 minutes.
    Step 2

    Cook the rice till half done. Keep aside.
    Step 3

    Clean and cut the mutton and chicken into cubes. Boil the eggs and keep     aside.
    Step 4

    Slice the onions. Grind ginger and garlic to a paste.
    Step 5

    Heat ghee in a frying pan, add onions, ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
    Step 6

    Add the chicken and mutton and fry them for 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of  water and salt to taste and cook on slow fire till the meat is tender and only 1/3 of the gravy is left.
    Step 7

    Add some more ghee and the well beaten curd. Cook on a slow fire until     the curd gets absorbed.
    Step 8

    Add 1 teaspoon of rose water after the meat has cooled.
    Step 9

    Take a heavy bottomed pan and arrange alternate layers of rice and cooked meat taking care that the first and last layers are that of rice.
    Step 10

    Place in an oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes on low heat.
    Step 11

    Garnish with fried onions, quartered boiled eggs and boiled green peas.

Step 1

Step 2
Once the cooker is hot enough add cashew nuts and fry well, then keep it aside. Then, add oil to the cooker and fry cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Add onions, green cillies, ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add basmati rice and stir well to mix. Pour 2 cups of water.

Ingredients of Walnut Almond Halwa

2 cup walnuts
6 tablespoon ghee
160 ml milk
1/2 cup flaked almonds
2 tablespoon semolina
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon green cardamom

Step 1
Grind green cardamom into fine powder. In a pan kept on medium flame, add 1 cup water, sugar and cook until the syrup is of one string consistency. On another flame, place a deep bottomed pan on medium flame and heat ghee in it.
Step 2
Turn the flame to low and add semolina and saute until light brown. Add crushed walnut pieces, almond flakes and keep stirring.
Step 3
Once the mixture dries out, mix in milk and cook for about 15 minutes. Mix in cardamom powder in the end and transfer the halwa to serving bowls.
Step 4
Garnish with walnuts and almonds on top.

Ingredients of Badam Halwa

250 gm blanched & peeled almonds
1 1/2 cup sugar
For Garnishing
1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
1/4 teaspoon saffron

Step 1

Ingredients of Pista Halwa

2 cup pistachios
4 tablespoon ghee
2 tablespoon milk
1 cup sugar
1 silver vark
water as required
2 drops edible food color

How to make Pista Halwa


Step 1
Take a mixing bowl and add enough warm water in it. Soak the pistachios in the water and leave them submerged for half an hour. Then carefully peel the skin of the nuts. Keep it aside until needed again.

Step 2
Then take a mixer jar and add milk and soaked pistachios in it. Grind both the ingredients to form a paste.

Step 3
Now in a deep bottomed pan, heat enough water on a medium flame. Then carefully add the sugar in the pan.

Step 4
Allow the mixture to come to a boil and thereafter decrease the flame. Then add the pistachios paste (see step-2) followed by adding edible food color ( green in color) to the mixture. Mix continuously to prevent any clumps.

Step 5
Once the mixture accumulates in the center, add ghee to it and mix again. Transfer the halwa in a serving dish and top it up with silver vark.

Ingredients of Kerala Style Banana Halwa

8 banana
1/2 teaspoon green cardamom
6 tablespoon ghee

How to make Kerala Style Banana Halwa


Step 1
To prepare this delicious banana halwa, peel the bananas and mash them in a large bowl. Put a pan on medium flame and heat ghee in it. When the ghee is melted, add the mashed bananas and reduce the flame to low.

Step 2
Stir the mashed bananas in ghee and cook for about 15 minutes or until they become light brown in colour. Keep stirring the bananas to avoid sticking at the bottom.

Step 3
After 15 minutes, add sugar to the pan and stir well to dissolve the sugar completely and cook for another 5 minutes. Then add cardamom powder and stir once again for a few seconds and remove the pan from the burner. Transfer the halwa to a serving bowl and allow the mixture to cool down at room temperature.
