Nawabi Pulao Recipe in Indian Style #Foodiesblog.ooo



Ingredients of Nawabi Pulao

1/2 kilograms chopped into cubes,washed & dried chicken
1/2 kilograms soaked,washed & dried basmati rice
1 cup milk
1 large ginger
4 pinches powdered salt
3 cup Water
1/4 kilograms chopped into cubes,washed & dried mutton
3 medium onion
12 cloves garlic
6 tablespoon melted ghee
1 teaspoon Rose water

For The Main Dish 1 cup beaten yoghurt (curd)
1/2 cup shelled,boiled peas

    For making this mughlai lunch/dinner recipe, clean and wash rice and     soak it in water for 15 minutes.
    Step 2

    Cook the rice till half done. Keep aside.
    Step 3

    Clean and cut the mutton and chicken into cubes. Boil the eggs and keep     aside.
    Step 4

    Slice the onions. Grind ginger and garlic to a paste.
    Step 5

    Heat ghee in a frying pan, add onions, ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
    Step 6

    Add the chicken and mutton and fry them for 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of  water and salt to taste and cook on slow fire till the meat is tender and only 1/3 of the gravy is left.
    Step 7

    Add some more ghee and the well beaten curd. Cook on a slow fire until     the curd gets absorbed.
    Step 8

    Add 1 teaspoon of rose water after the meat has cooled.
    Step 9

    Take a heavy bottomed pan and arrange alternate layers of rice and cooked meat taking care that the first and last layers are that of rice.
    Step 10

    Place in an oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes on low heat.
    Step 11

    Garnish with fried onions, quartered boiled eggs and boiled green peas.

2 cup pistachios

How to make Vegetable Pulao



Step 1

Add oil in a non-stick frying pan and heat over medium flame. Once the oil is sufficiently hot, add onions and stir till they become light pink. Make sure that you are stirring continuously else the onions might stick to the bottom of the pan. Once the onions turn slightly translucent, add in all the whole spices, along with the vegetables (not sprouts and soya).

Step 2

Stir the ingredients well and cook (covered with 1/4 cup water) until the hardest vegetable (in this case carrots) is slightly tender. This should take about 5-8 minutes. Make sure that the flame is on low-moderate flame.

Step 3

After 5-8 minutes, give it a check. If the vegetables have been cooked nicely, add sprouts and soya and stir for 2-3 minutes on moderate flame. Once this is done, add the drained brown rice, with salt and chilli powder. You can also add any other favourite masalas at this point. Stir till the rice starts forming clumps.

Step 4

Then, add 2 cups of water and bring the whole pot to a boil. After the first boil, simmer and cook covered, till the rice is cooked (usually around 8 minutes). Turn off the heat and transfer vegetable pulao in a serving bowl. Serve hot with boondi or cucumber raita.

Kaju Katli Recipe How to Make Spicial Kaju Barfi



Kaju kathli or Kaju katari is an expensive and popular sweet in India made during any festive occasions like Diwali, Raksha bandhan, Holi etc. It is also one of the popular sweets that we gift to our relatives and friends on special occasions. It is slightly expensive due to the high pricing of it's basic ingredient, the “kaju”. Kaju in Hindi means“cashew nuts” and Katli means “slices”. Kaju Katli is made using finely ground cashew powder and sugar syrup. The best part of making this sweet is that one can never go wrong in its preparation. And even if it goes wrong, it can be rectified and be given a shape. This is also one of the rarest sweets which does not require ghee(just a little for greasing) as cashew has natural fats which gives the required consistency. Many people associate cashew only as high priced commodity and consumption of cashews leads to weight gain. On the contrary, cashews have numerous health benefits. The nut is rich in copper which removes free radicals from the body and helps in avoiding blood diseases. The nut intake also has cholesterol lowering effect. Cashews are rich in dietary fiber, photo-chemical, proteins and anti oxidants.

Recipe for Kaju Katli  :--

Preparation time: 6 hours (including soaking time)
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

Cashew nuts - 100 grams

Sugar - equal quantity as cashew after making a paste

Ghee - 1 tsp

Cardamom powder - a pinch

Method

Soak the cashews in water for 6-8 hrs. Remove it from the water and grind to a smooth paste. Do not add water while grinding

Measure the quantity of paste, take equal quantity of sugar. For e.g: If there is 1/4 cup of cashew paste, take 1/4 cup of sugar

Take a heavy bottomed pan or a non stick pan and melt the sugar. Add the cashew paste and cook for few minutes. Add the ghee

When it starts leaving the sides of the pan, add the cardamom powder and mix well

Remove it on the platform and knead to a smooth ball. You will get a nice dough of it 

Flatten the same with the rolling pin on a plate. Cut it into any desired shape. Traditionally it is cut in diamond shape. Enjoy

Ingredients for Pav Bhaji Recipe


Potato ⇒ 2 boiled
Carrots ⇒ 1 (picked)
Full cabbage ⇒ ½
Green chilli ⇒ 2 (from fine chopped)
Garlic ⇒ granulated
Ginger ⇒ granulated
Onion ⇒ 1 (from fine chopped)
Tomato ⇒ 3 is large (from fine chopped)
Coriander ⇒ (from fine chopped)
Turmeric powder ⇒ ½ tsp
Kashmiri red chili ⇒ 2 teaspoons
Pav Bhaji Masala ⇒ 2 teaspoons
Ghee ⇒ 1 tbsp
Cooking oil ⇒ 2 tbsp
⇒ Salt to taste
Lemon ⇒ 1
Peas ⇒ ½ bowl

How to make Pav Bhaji At Home


To make greens you can use a variety of vegetables, I am using peas, potatoes, cabbage and carrot here.

First you cut the pieces washed the potatoes and potatoes that big so they half-half.
Cabbage and carrots and cut into large pieces to look good.
And take the time to clear them from the water removed Pease.

Now, turn off the gas. Now all the garnish Pour coriander and butter to the Pav Bhaji.
